Update Efis knobs

Last week I got a package from Peru with new buttons for both EFIS.

The original buttons that are found on the Efis737EL of CPFlight are simple buttons that are everywhere in the market can purchase, and which have nothing in common with the buttons found on the real version.

At the company ACV Design from Peru (Lima) I have replicas found to (almost) match the real ones. These buttons are very beautiful and detailed finished and are equipped with a no-load absolutely (madebout). The ‘decals’ with inscriptions belong to the package. They should still be on the front to be glued.

The service of ACV Design is excellent and correct, i.e. rapid response after an email, they respond to the wishes of the customer, and fast delivery.

Gear pin stowage

In between I have the pedestal (After Electronic panel) is further extended with the ‘Gear Pin Stowage’.

Before the departure, on the ‘walk-around checks’, one of the crew members of the ’3 gear pins (downlock pin) in the cockpit.

They are typically stored in one of the rear side pockets of the sidewalls.

In the Ryanair Boeings they have to do this, a separate provision (Gear Pin Stowage at the back of the pedestal. This gives you a nice overview that the 3 gear pins are present.

B737 Circuit breakers panels – Flybycockpits

During my visit to the FSWeekend in Lelystad, on Nov 01 I have on the state of FLYBYCOCKPITS (Portugal) a ready-made CB-panel seen. The CB panel was beautifully made and in detail finished. So they also have other CB panels in their product line (total 10 pieces).

Not only CB-panels are top, but also all their other hardware is very nicely finished.

Maybe something for the future ... ?

Those who are interested can always visit the website of FLYBYCOCKPITS.

The sidewalls are 2 handheld microphones, one for the Capt and one for the F/O. These ‘hand mics’ are used instead of the headset.

In our cockpit have these handheld microphones no function, and they serve only as decoration. It gives a realistic touch to the cockpitinterieur ...

Ash-trays

The ‘sidewalls’ in a B737 are also equipped with built-in ashtrays (ash-trays). Things that are no longer used, but they are still there.

The ashtrays that I use in my ‘sidewalls to see on the front almost like the typical ‘B737 ash-trays’ but are actually no ashtrays.
The are small boxes in which normal business cards are stored.
