The Lower Subpanels are the panels located at the bottom of the MIP (Mean Instrument Panel). They are mainly used for controlling the lighting of the MIP for both for the DU's as indirect lighting (Background and AFDS Flood).
This Lower Subpanels of FlyEngravity have a built-in EPB backlight-lighting (12V). Here are the leds already built in and have a warm white color.
The backlight illumination of this ‘lower panels’ was until now not yet connected.

The ‘visuals’ or the buitenaanzichten (external views) are the various displays that one outside the cockpit can see in other words, the environment in which it flies or the scenery.
The scenery for an airliner-the pilot is limited to the airport area, some clouds and ‘blue sky’.
Yet the ‘external view’ as well as possible be displayed, you want as much as possible to enjoy the surroundings (scenery).
For these ‘visuals’, I have opted for the use of a projector (beamer) and more specifically the BenQ MW811ST.
More info about this on the page PC Setup/Visuals.

The left and right of the Lower Dimming Panels are the ‘vents’ or vents (tubes). These ventilation openings can for example also be found above the passenger seat in a bus or airliner.
It is used for cooling and ventilation.
The ‘vents’ that I've made (Tip Henk Timmermans) are fake and can later be connected to a ventilation system.

The GoFlight modules I have now fixed with ‘aluminium aircraft fasteners replicas’ (DZUS).
This ‘fasteners’, I have met with FlyEngravity. The whole thing looks better finished.

Monday is Marnic Teerlinck come take a look, not only to look at the cockpit but also to the electronics that still needs to happen. For example, the connection of the backlighting of the Lower Sub Panels, control backlighting Trottle and the installation of the lighting of the glarewings and glareshield (AFDS flood lights) .
Marnic is a fellow and board member of the Flight Simulator Club ’27th Squadron‘. Outside the flightsimmen is passionate about electronics.

Sunday had a visit from Marc Eekels. He is my neighbor and the man on the arm and headrests of the cockpitstoelen has covered with imitation leather. Also, the badges he has made.
Marc is also the director of Grip Gear, a company that deals with selling and maintenance of jet-skis.
