Welcome on board Marnic Teerlinck

Monday is Marnic Teerlinck come take a look, not only to look at the cockpit but also to the electronics that still needs to happen. For example, the connection of the backlighting of the Lower Sub Panels, control backlighting Trottle and the installation of the lighting of the glarewings and glareshield (AFDS flood lights) .

Marnic is a fellow and board member of the Flight Simulator Club ’27th Squadron‘. Outside the flightsimmen is passionate about electronics.

Test flights were a success

I have a couple of test flights behind the back and all is well, i.e. everything now works as it should.

Points to be observed in these test flights were to the effect of :

  • MCP and Efis with FSLabs driver;
  • MIP-functions with FSLabs driver;
  • Flight Controls;
  • CDU with PMDG driver;
  • Throttle Quadrant with SIOC-driver (trust levers, speedbrake lever, reversers, cutoff levers, parkingbrake, flaps, TO/GA buttons, A/T Disconnect buttons);
  • Avionics (radios);
  • Warning lights and annunciators with FSLabs driver;
  • Frame rates;
  • ButtKicker.

In the beginning there were a few problems with o.a. the reversers, which made for landing congestion but the opposite that they had to do. M. a.w. holder de bolder on the runway past ...
After a proper calibration now work the reversers back to normal.

The trust levers of the TQ were in the beginning what to sore. The trust was open at the time that I'm on the rudderpedals came...
So a X-Control problem. Afterwards, at the rudder of this X-Control off the rudder and TQ now works as it should.

Also the gear lever was not working properly. He worked the other way round than in FS. Gear-up gear-down in FS . A connector on the ICS-system was just the other way around on the board and pinned. Turn over and solved !

The ButtKicker also had strange cures. Nothing shaking but the rattle against the stars. After checking it turned out that it had los gerammeld. I have the metal bevestigingsbalkje better screwed on and the trillerhefboom packed with cloths. The rattle is gone and the platform vibrates in the low bass. The epic centre is located between the two cockpitstoelen.

Hocus Pocus Pats ! And all of the displays of lights on ! (But it Was so easy).

The story is found on page PC Setup/Configuration.

Business Cards

When I give someone my address, say from this site I get always the same answer:"How do you say ?’ or ‘Say that again’ or ‘I can't remember, write’.

In order to resolve this issue, I have Business Cards (name Cards) in Vistaprint.

To order Online, not too expensive and easy. So done with repeat or to write ...
